Good Eats at Briggs Farm!

Food
People love the farm fresh roasted sweet corn we’ve been serving up for the last 15 years. Some say they would come just for the corn. It’s very good! In addition to that we will be serving up a Mississippi Delta Blues special menu of slow smoked meats.  The most fantastic news is Blues Super Star LONNIE SHIELDS will be personally cooking it for you. Lonnie will be slow smoking and slathering on his “Lick the Bone” barbeque sauce to ribs, pulled pork, sausage and chicken.  You can still bring your coolers but don’t bother bringing food ’cause as Lonnie says, “You don’t need no teeth to eat my meat.” Lonnie will also be “smok’n” with his guitar on the Back Porch Stage throughout the weekend Blues Festival. Lonnie loves to cook!  New in 2012 was homemade Macaroni & Cheese with (or without) Stewed Tomatoes!  The new dish was a hit!  And we can’t forget about breakfast.  A down-home country-style breakfast is available for campers to purchase.  Cooked made-to-order by Unicorn Concessions, the Camper’s breakfast can be described in two words: Very Satisfying!

Amenities
We supply clean Porta-Potties, sinks for washing hands and Potable Water.  Showers  are available in Camping Area with SOLAR-HEATED water.

Fun
Try the Blues Hay Ride between sets if you feel like seeing more of Beautiful Briggs Farm by Tractor and Wagon. It’s Free.

Don’t miss this chance to experience National, Regional, and International Blues Bands in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere on our 350-Acre Family Farm.

When you arrive at the Gate, fill out your Ticket Stub and check out the Guitars we will be giving away on Friday and Saturday night.  A free drawing will be held each night just before the head line act. You must be present to win.
